at least we've had some news, unlike how we've been left completely in the dark for god knows how long. still, should be here before x-mas then. Very Happy

nice to see EA/DICE aren't just a bunch of money robbing b******s and do take something to do with there community.

Dont worry, your not the only one chewing your livingroom carpet waiting for this patch to come out- the wait should be worth it Smile

"There has been a lot of discussions on the Battlefield forums regarding the Battlefield 2 Update 1.50, so this is to let you all know what’s happening.

Update 1.50 is still in development, we have held back on releasing the update as we have become aware of and are taking preventative measures against 3rd party tools which have been severely affecting everyone’s playing experience recently by crashing dedicated servers, clients as well as allowing account spoofing. We hope you understand our decision to delay the release to resolve these issues rather than releasing early with a need to update again.
We are looking to release this update by Winter of this year."

Sounds like were getting close to it people! they said in the previous anncoument that they want it released by the winter of this year- were in the last month of this year so this could be the month the goods get delivered- whooo!!! Very Happy

especially good news for those folk, those like myself, who find their stats telling them they have played on servers that they never heard of before, and even more important for those who have their account/s spoofed recently Wink

still no release date,but open beta early next year. map looks nice. Very Happy

also for the 2142 fans a patch 1.51 is coming that will also have this map but slightly diff to suit that game.
