BF2 Server List Problems

A little follow on from public regular stoney ingame last night about the BF2 server lists messed up...

GameSpy - Master Server Issues

GameSpy are continuing to have issues with their master server which means the server lists for the following games are all having problems:-

Battlefield 2
Battlefield 2124
Battlefield 2 Modern Combat ( PS2 )
Unreal Tournament 3
There is also a possible problem with a recent Windows Vista patch where several players have reported that if they run the game as Administrator this helps them see servers but this is as yet unconfirmed.

This is the worst really as if people cant see many servers on their lists I can imagine its very damaging for many servers.

I think stoney in total could only see about 180 servers world wide Sad

yes, i was looking through servers late last night and could only see less than 50. worst still, ours wasn't one of them.

If we cant been seen in lists then we dont stand any chance of getting a busy server.. there must be thousands in the same boat mind Sad

Yeah. im getting this problem too but the pings for the servers are all coming up as 0.

Got an incident ticket with EA support going, but there about as much f*ckin help as nothern rock holding a bank account.
