Suggestion - Conquest/Rush Rotation

I guess when I played the rush game type I thought this is new and fresh Very Happy

so for me playing conquest give me the feeling of going back to a BF2 feel did not really rock my boat Sad

Also when there are just a few on the server its a bit like watching paint dry where as when playing rush you can still get a really good game in. I think its works better on a full server or a fair amount on.
Some of the maps on conquest are very nice Very Happy

Erhm i'm fairly new here but think rotation is always good so you won't get too bored in time from the same thing over & over :p

I think one thing is clear and that is this game is here for the long term. The game is amazing and regularly throws up breath taking gaming moments.

With that in mind I think there is no harm in experimenting at this stage. If the server takes a hit due to the addition of conquest mode, I don't think it would take long for it to recover.

The 24hrs I have spent playing on our sever has shown me that we have many regular good quality players (perhaps 1 to many bloody snipers Wink

) and so if details were shown on the server loading screen with regards to when the conquest game mode would be run, I reckon regulars who didn't like conquest would come back for rush.

Just my thoughts. (it's not uncommon for me to be wrong!)

Nowt much to say but, I would like to see conquest on the server.

conquest= dull boring run round

rush = fun defending and attacking and always a battle going on

i say try conquest if no one comes on or it dont fill the server up then we go back to rush

Grim I played conquest on a couple of random servers and was not too taken with it but now i have played it alongside |2es teammates it improved the experience 10 fold for me and I think this is the most important thing to consider.

Random servers with random squads pale into insignificance when compared to playing on your home turf with clan mates and the confidence that the server will be moderated and admin'd fairly Smile

A couple of things to add from last night - Apollo must be banned from chopper flying (only if he is on the opposing team Wink

) and tanks should spawn quicker for Eminem so I can C4 them more often Wink

i hated conquest in bf2142

oooo and guess what i hate conquest (even more so) in bfbc2 mucho prefere rush

i have never played anything but rush and the server has always been full

im certainly up for a change in mode esp as it means different maps

it must be worth giving it a go and seeing if conquest has any adverse effects
