Is it me or is the Battlefield franchise seriously loosing its way. With other large scale war games in the pipeline. Dice/EA need to pull something out their arses or they gonna end up left with a heap of over comercialised rubbish. |

re skinned bf2 by the looks of it. should be worth a try if its free. how have they managed to get this out before bf2 patch 1.5?
in the video it flashes up dx frostbite. but surely not. the map on the video is wake island from bf2.
come on dice/ea. give us what we really want, bf3. |

they announced battlefield bad ompany 2 as well, and read up on that on the website.
thats out on pc as well. so that could be our next pc battlefield. which i will definitly be getting cause the first bad company is awesome. they just need to flesh out mulitplayer options in the pc version and it will be fine.
in bf bad company you would automatically get put into squads, there was no commander, couldnt put order markers out.
so if they sort that out and also dont use match making, then it should be damn awesome.
also enhancing the gfx and building/scenery dmg of frostbite engine would be good. you can blow up buildings, make craters in ground in orignal bad company. in the bf1943 trailer you see buildings get blown up so theres no reason why that shouldnt been in bad company 2 |

In a word? No.
At least for me. 24 players with 1/4 of them in vehicles and the rest getting farmed?? BF's vehicles are better the more grunts there are imo and my first impression is massive balls up tbh which is a massive shame if it turns out that way.
Trying to keep an open mind but lets face it bf makes you think 24 per side or more not 24 in total? |

Can see your point Mcginty. Lets hope, for their sake, the boys in Sweden get it right- it'll be a mover forward and a franchise boost rather than a distraction from the more pressing affairs they have (i.e. BF2 1.50 patch) and potentially a ticket to losing some die hard fans. |

This isn't the next big thing, more of a shiny update of BF1942. Looks like it's aimed at the masses as a budget pick up and play download. |
